MB 1957 convertible

This is a 1:63 Model of the 1957 Thunderbird

There are several different Base types.

The Plastic base has a reinforcing ring cast around the front rivet mount to prevent stress
cracking

However a couple of exceptions exist;

The Chubby's Promo has the 1988 Copyright but is Metal.
The Happy Days car has an unpainted metal base but was cast using the Plastic Mould !

Announced but never released ! Star Cars Series 3 was announced in January 1999 and was scheduled to include an American Graffiti T-Bird in White: Perhaps someone pointed out that car in the film was a 1956 HardTop ? I have now been informed that none of the Series 3 Star Cars were released, presumably because of the competition from Johnny Lightning. This was to be the Box, but it is the wrong car!
